At first you have to gather information of your destination. You can gather

information from various sources such as books, travel magazine, travel advisors etc. The

best medium would be to use internet. You can get plenty of information about your destination and you can get the idea of the place, hotels , sight seeing, articles you want to buy, the rent of cars even the charge of foodstuff.

Take a small diary and note down the information of your useful things. At first you have to select your flight or train and their timing of departure and arrival time. You can compare the fare chart of other flights and train and select the most cost affordable and comfortable journey.
